About Us

Our Story

Gosling Lake Campground is run by owners Jamie and Blair, alongside our families and a committed team, as we continue to bring new life to the campground. In 2025, the campground — and our hearts — got a little fuller with the addition of our newest little camper Ben, a new pup, and more chickens than anyone planned for.

Looking ahead, our vision is simple: to create a place where guests can slow down, enjoy the peaceful, scenic surroundings, and make lasting memories. By offering a unique and welcoming camping experience, we’re proud to support the local economy while protecting the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

Our History

Gosling Lake Campground is situated on 14 hectares (34.6 acres) of land that was formally the site of another park – Gosling Park, which was developed in 1971. The previous park was built in partnership with a local community and volunteer organization. Starting in 1983, the volunteer organization hosted the annual Labrador Canoe Regatta each year at the location. Outside of the three days a year that the park was operated for the regatta, the volunteer organization did not operate the park. In recent years, volunteer support decreased, and the park eventually stopped operating.
